The following letter was sent to the association by councillor Lettie McCarthy Dear Resident, Arising from many requests from residents, I submitted the area in front of the Shopping Centre to be assessed for Double Yellow Lines at the Traffic Advisory Group meeting . I am pleased to tell you at their meeting on September 30th last, it was agreed to implement this measure and 15 m's of lines on both of the affected junctions were approved. Council Offers Free Recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipme |
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council 6 November 2008 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to announce that during November residents can avail of free recycling of any waste with a plug or battery on Saturday mornings from 9am – 1pm. In conjunction with WEEE Ireland and Rehab Recycling, cages will be provided in four different locations for the public to bring waste electrical and electronic items for recycling. |

Dear Residents, Please note that the statement below has been posted on the DLRCOCO website under 'Latest News' . Council to remain a major player in the waste market Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council confirms that it is committed to remaining in the household waste collection market, and continues to value the support of its 34,000 customers. Despite reports to the contrary, the Council emphasises that that the black and green bin collection will continue to be provided on all routes. Furthermore, all waste-related infrastructure such as recycling bring centres and glass banks will continue to be provided by the local authority. |
