MEETING OF DUNDRUM AREA COMMITTEE
7 JANUARY 2013
Inclusion of Sandyford Hall on the Tree Pruning Programme
Motion: Councillor L. McCarthy
“That the Manager would please include Sandyford Hall on the Tree PruningProgramme.”
Report: Sandyford Hall has been identified as one of a number of areas in need of estatewide tree works. Quotations were received in late 2012 and we anticipate that estate-wide tree works will be carried out in Sandyford Hall during 2013 subject to available funding.

Extract from email received from Cllr. Lettie McCarthy, content from DLRCOCO.

QUOTE
Sandyford Hall is in need of prioritised estate-wide street tree pruning (crown-lifting, pruning back etc.) and we intend to arrange tree works before the end of March 2013. The works will involve the following throughout the estate:

Crownlifting of 115 trees.
Partial crown reduction of 4 trees.
Removal and stump grind of 2 trees close to public streetlights.
UNQUOTE

I guess if you have any specific requests for trees in the area, then contact DLRCOCO Parks Department now.
