Proposed Traffic Management on Murphystown Road Date: July 27, 2010 05:33AM
The Contractor working on the construction of the new Murphystown Parallel Road has applied to the Traffic Section to restrict the traffic flow to one-way northbound from Tuesday 3rd August to Friday 26th November '10.
Southbound traffic to divert via Leopardstown Road and Kilgobbin Road.
The purpose for the traffic restriction is to allow construction work to be undertaken on a gasmain, watermain and eircom ducting as well as the construction of a retaining wall and cladding between the existing and new roadway.
The Contractor will issue a public information to all local residents, informing them of the proposed traffic arrangements.
